Agree entirely...my Bolt EUV Supercruise does this exactly, and also allows hands free from the steering wheel, not touch it every 20 seconds. Maybe increase it to a minute! Gives us more time to enjoy it.
Use super off-peak rates 11 pm-7am exclusively, Georgia Power rate is 1.42 cents per kWh. 100 kWh costs $1.42 to travel an average of 2.3 miles/kWh or 230 miles. Pretty hard to beat this!
After this update, I was getting almost 3 miles/kWh driving around the Tampa Bay area doing 40-60 mph. But, on the way home, after charging in Lake City Florida (301 miles on the GOM, temp around 60 F) got closer to 2.3 miles/kWh because temperature dropped to around 40 degrees F and was...
We need a "Gasbuddy" equivalent. Maybe EVcharger Buddy! Price per minute sometimes beats price per kWh if you are getting a decent kW speed. Right now it's a crap shoot. Just finished a trip to Tampa area and wanted to try EVgo because have a $500 credit I got from GM for the purchase of my...
My mobile service technician from ATL SC has also been to Normal plant, and says they are having a difficult time attracting qualified people to work in the Normal area...and since there is a new plant going up east of Atlanta, some are hoping to transfer there hoping for warmer winters!
Maybe...
Great, sounds like a wonderful idea for at least the first 3-4 rotations...but thinking instead of purchasing 5 new tires when all are worn significantly, will probably change to 4 tire rotation with 4 new tires, and leave the nearly worn out tire as a true "spare", to use for emergency until...
I am a little over 7k miles now, and just ordered some jack pucks. Haven't thought about adding in the spare tire into this rotation as my last few vehicles didn't have a spare.
Is it a good idea to bring out the spare and put it into service? If so, is there some sort of plan as to where to...
Update: After emails to customer support and my guide, I was just called by the Atlanta Service Center and approved for a WARRANTY COVERED repair via mobile service the third week in January. Will see if this appointment sticks!
Two days after photo and detailed email to customer service about the problem and "no show" mobile appointment from Rivian Service. Crickets so far...
Am sending another email to my Rivian guide, in hopes that someone will send this up the chain to higher management. Not a good look for a...
Update: Rivian Service called the day before my scheduled mobile appointment to tell me, sight unseen, it would NOT be warranty covered, and would cost over $1000 to replace the door panel. I argued that their own service center likely caused this problem when they were working on my door...
Entry/exit adjustment feature would be great IF it worked for the passenger seat. My wife likes sitting up high and forgets to lower the seat when exiting, so has a difficult time entering subsequently. The kneel feature isn't helpful as we usually ride around town in conserve mode and lowest...
Ditto for my R1T at the Atlanta SC several months ago. "They are all like this. It's a truck!" Ready to try the painter's tape around the triangular windows and see if can make it stop. If so, silicone caulk??
