Rivian R1S with Thule Motion XT XXl Roof Box installed. Unfortunately my Yakima Skybox didn’t fit my R1S so I had to get a Thule instead. Pretty easy to fit, lots of room and the piano black paint matches that of the Rivian. Thule seems to be the way to go.

Same here, also surprised they do not recommend a cargo box on their site.

Filed a ticket last night, guessing it will be a few months before they can get it fixed.

I was moving some heavy items from the back of my R1S today and one of the items snagged the lip of this cover and ripped it off. Looks like the mounting pins snapped off in their slots. I will need to order another cover. It did not take a lot of force to tear this out, it snagged the right...

So after doing some research and speaking with Rack Attack, the recommendation is to go with Thule cargo boxes rather than Yakima (which is weird because Rivian has a partnership with Yakima), the Thule boxes uses a mounting system where it clamps from both sides rather than a single clamp. I...

Looks like they all use the same clamps. I’m going to call rack attack tomorrow and see what they recommend, I’ll report back .

Car wash mode worked great. What scared the crap out of me were the air blowers that dry the car. The the panoramic sunroof was shaking like crazy. Anyone concerned about the sunroof breaking?

I have the Rivian cross bars but my Yakima carbonate skybox clamps are not compatible with the crossbars. Do we have any confirmation of which cargo boxes are compatible with the R1S?

Which extension cord do you all recommend for situations where you might need to use a home 240-volt plug and need to run the cable out to the garage etc?

Having the same issue with one of my crossbars, put a ticket in with Rivian.

It was not opening at all. I made some changes to the locking/unlocking settings and proximity settings, so will see if that helps. Will report back.

Sorry if this was already posted on the site, I couldn't find it. We noticed at home that the button to open the liftgate does not work. I believe it makes a sound, but will not open the tailgate, even with the R1S unlocked. I do have proximity locking/unlocking turned off at home, so maybe this...

The ride quality in our Audi Q7 is better than the R1S in my opinion. The Audi floats over bumps better while still keeping the steering tight. The R1S definitely feels like a truck while driving it - no surprise there.
