Well this is my 3rd Halloween update and it's a pretty massive upgrade from the first year. I would imagine there are some really fun possibilities in the future. I hope Rivian gets some much needed press around these Halloween skins. they are pretty cool.
I am not the OP but I put a set of these on my truck and they are getting between 1.9 and 2 whereas my OEM AT tires were about 2-2.1 miles per kWh. I'll update after I have a few thousand miles, but there might be a slight range hit due to their weight.
But it's so worth it for the ride...
Mine started when I got home and then got stuck on “paused “ for the last hour or so. I’m connected to WiFi but I guess my truck has second thoughts on this update….
They are going to regret putting that in print when a bunch of rabid forum users start complaining fi they don't get it in the first 15 minutes of release.....
OOF - There is something seriously wrong with your Rivian if a Wrangler rides better. Sorry you are having those issues. I have had my front and rear subframes replaced and largely all noise is gone and mine rides like a dream.
I can't imagine going from one of best and fastest driving Trucks on the road to one of the objectively worst handling vehicles for daily driving (and I have nothing against jeeps or BOF 4 wheelers - I drive a 70s Land Cruiser too).
I assume you had problems with the Rivian?
Yeah, I tried soft and hard resets and seems to still be issues. Especially with the "storage device disconnected" pop up.
Not a big deal for me and I expect it will be fixed in the next release.
Yep. Lost a bunch of motion alert videos. Also get the Storage Device disconnect whenever I get home and the truck connects to my WiFi. No idea why, but definitely new bugs in this latest update.
I need a few loser stocks this year to offset gains on stocks i'm selling so I'm letting my Rivian stock go in its entirety. I don't see it going up for a few years if it does.
That said, I still like that they are trying to build as much in house as possible. Sure they could sell the Quad...
Just hope you get proper medical care and a new car replacement as quick as you can.
The damage on the Rivian doesn't really indicate the strength of the impact. The video is intense.
All the best.
Being one of the first 100 or so Rivians in Los Angles, I got a lot of interested questions and did my best to spread my enthusiasm to those interested. My truck wasn't perfect and needed some service appts, but they were scheduled within a week or two after making an appt. So I was happy with...
Yeah, I've seen that location. It's not a picnic either.
Anyone who saw what happened to Tesla service centers when the Model 3 came out, knows that the current service set up is going to get 5x worse when they add the R2.
As Rivian owners/fans/supporters - the best thing we can do is...
In Los Angeles we all have to drive to LAX to get service. It's a terrible location, the appointments take months to get and even if you are lucky to get your issue taken on the first shot - your truck usually sits for two weeks or more for a service item that takes less than a day.
I can...
Sorry that happened. I agree a bumper ding shouldn't disable the vehicle. Anyone saying otherwise or that you ignored the beeps is missing the point. Accidents happen, but this is a design flaw issue.
All these new cars have too many cameras and sensors in the bumpers and all those devices...
