You won't be able to get an R2 for another 1.5-2 years. So by then there will be plenty of used R2s in the 50k range if you want one. Depreciation on EVs is extreme.
Apple Music hasn't worked for me since the last update. Have done all the soft and hard resets and the log out and in. It's broken. Hoping next update fixes it.
Yep!
I'm sure this is Sirius demands for the way it is implemented more than Rivian looking to charge more.
They haven't learned yet that they could actually make more money if they just charged $3 a month and people forgot to cancel it.
I gave up on Sirius as soon as I could realized how much better bluetooth streaming sounded in my car over their terrible bit rates.
The trial price and integration is for suckers .
In car and app is $25 a month. App only is $9.99.
Neither of them are satellite - which is actually good...
Yep - Native Apple Music is now garbage with the latest update. Every other day my Apple Music decides to decode the audio only to the front speakers and completely removes the center channel so you don't hear any vocals in Atmos mixes. IT's bizarre. The first time It happened I really...
I"m no longer excited about updates. The last few have been buggy for my Gen 1. Over the weekend I had the bug when all my audio suddenly only played through the center speaker. Sure an infotainment reset fixed it, but I can't even imagine what would cause that.
I only want bug fixes in my...
I would not trade my 2022 for a 2023 because ive had very few issues with it and the only changes were some very minor downgrades in little trim things between 2022 and 2023.
Miles are not that important, but see if you can get service history on them.
Go with the color and interior you...
My native Apple Music now won't play if my phone is connected to bluetooth. If I disconnect, it will work. And I can stream Apple Music over bluetooth (which is what I did when Apple Music stopped working). But as soon as I have my phone connected and Apple Music playing, it will stop.
I...
Today's stock drop could just be post election drops based on teh premise that Trump will be bad for EVs or Green Energy. Some other solar and green energy stocks tanked as well.
Overall, It's just one day and Rivian stock has been pretty consistently low since the IPO.
1. Yep, although I would buy one with a range extender if it's well implemented.
3. 2027 target for production. Doubt they will deliver before 2028 based on not having a factory or final design yet.
As I was trying to tell you - they aren't going in to production in 2026. Anyone with any sense could see that and even Scout is saying "production starts in 2027."
So I guess I wasn't so "nonsensical" after all?
Seems like a justified concern. someone in one of the Michelin threads mentioned poor grip in rain. Living in SoCal I haven’t been able to test these in the wet yet, but my Pirellis didn’t have much grip last year when we had our heaviest rainfall year in a while.
I think if I was going to see...
not too much. Maybe .1-.2 ? That’s been my experience and there seems to be a few others in the various Michelin threads reporting similar.
I was surprised that it didn’t improve going from the Pirelli ATs to these all seasons but i guess it’s an issue of weight and rolling resistance.
They are decent designs, but I doubt they will be available to buy anytime soon. They still have at least a year to build on the plant and if we know anything about new VW products like the ID Buzz, it'll be slow going.
