I know this topic has come up in a few threads but does anyone else exigeriez en really loud wind noise in their R1S at speed above 55?
Ours is so loud, it reminds me of our Jeep Wrangler. It doesn’t seem normal since it’s a “solid” roof.
Any known issues?
Just filed our amendment (TurboTax). Had to select paper check to be able to submit. I was told it should be 20 weeks until we get the check in the mail.
Delivered on 6/11
My 4.5yo daughter loves it.
The color turned out to be a great choice.
For everybody saying that Rivian vehicles handle like sports cars… they definitely don’t. Really heavy, slow steering, poor accelerator response.
I really like it. Not in love though but it’s a great...
If they were to follow in the footsteps of GM and Ford our “old” non retrofitted vehicles will be so much less desirable on the second hand market, it might be wise considering selling/escaping now.
Would they retrofit this to already produced/delivered vehicles?
By the way charging at a supercharger with a non Tesla is much more expensive than using other EVCS.
edit: crazy phone.
That’s most likely to avoid heavy items to get out and crush you at that angle.
Edit. Looked at the pic and you’re facing down so probably not the reason. Unless it doesn’t understand front and back.
Laughing but you’re correct.
No reliability track record for either and the little bit of record for Rivian is not that great (based on reports made on this forum).
I love not seeing the total miles on our Tesla. I believe our Land Rovers hid it too. So much nicer and peaceful. Less constant reminder that it’s a depreciating “asset”.
On the last picture of the car (side profile), does it seem like there’s an excess of weight in the back? The rear suspension appears to be lower and it doesn’t seem to be due to ground level (it could just be my eyes).
Agreed. Would love to see an option that covers the third row folded down.
It could be Ă la Jeep Wrangler where the rubber mat covers the cargo area as well as the back of the rear (third row) seats and just stays in place up or down.
@stealthpilot It’s been pretty clear that once you confirm your configuration, your order is close to being built and you lose shop access.
Not sure why you’re acting/reacting like this. It’ll be okay. You’ll get your truck soon enough.
