I had a similar issue using easy entry when the steering would retract or come out. It even prevented the steering wheel to go high enough for me to be able to see most of the “instrument cluster”. Got fixed by service. Hasn’t come back yet.

Had this on my 911. Took me a lot of work to remove all the parts after ripping the creature apart as it was so stuck/embedded in the radiator protection net. Good luck.

The 3/Y dual motor and performance are not the same. Different motor (the rear I believe).
