Any idea if powder coating the rims would have any impact on warranty/service? I wouldn't think so, but you never know. I'd never looked at the R1T rims before, they look soooo much better, can't imagine why they just didn't come standard on the R1S to begin with...the $1800 up charge seems...

Thanks - didn't find that thread in my search. Too bad that they're going w/ the all Red approach. I can't count the number of times I've had to jam my brakes because I thought someone was just slowing down for an intersection rather than actually turning. Hi all - kind of a nit, but a pet peeve of mine has always been cars that use red/brake light colored turn indicators...I think there's been studies done about how unsafe they are, but for some reason auto makers think they look better or are cheaper or whatever so they keep coming out...

My 4runner just died after 21 years of service (transmission). I just went from patiently considering waiting for the max pack R1S w/ a removable roof to counting the days until my guide calls me to give me a timeline for the R1S LE.

Getting incrementally closer to launch. I've got a launch R1S reserved...but would really like to know what the removable roof option will look like, how it will operate and what it will cost before I decide to move forward or wait for 2022 models. Wondering if anyone else here is in the same...
