Rivian Automotive has hit a rough patch. Ramping up its electric-vehicle production has proven challenging, and its shares are down this year. Wall Street isn’t giving up on the stock, though, and vertical integration is one reason for that.
Vertical...

She still elicits a shit eatin' grin every time I get out and look back at her. Or return after a brief absence and admire her all over again. Or take her for a sweaty romp.
Still makes my pants tight.

Do you Cali folks notice this on a daily basis? I recall how much more clean our air was during Covid.
So this may be old news as I’m slow on the uptake, but wondering just how far behind the RAN buildout is early 2023?
While it is great to see new locations opening, it seems substantially behind compared to the original Rivian stated goal to build 3,500 charging stations at 600 U.S. and Canada...
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the forum,
Few Rivians delivered, members salty with boredom.
Orders placed many years past with great care,
In the hopes that their Rivians s00n would be there.
Configurations decided upon and wrestled to bed,

Checking interest for 3 other Colorado Rivian owners to split a set of 4 20" Dark Wheels and Tires from Rivian Service Center so we each can have a spare?
Please PM me with interest. Cost is $1,275 each (split $5,100 4 ways).
Edit: $1,390 each including tax. Thanks @Thedude.
Thanks
Have been striking out with both the Trimax Combination Hitch Pin Lock and the Rhino USA keyed version.
Both are too short to lock properly likely as they are both spec’d to fit Class III and IV hitches vs. Rivian’s Class V.
Anyone find 5/8” diameter that is long enough to fit the R1 hitch...
As teased in the Smoker thread, IMO Turkey is best done in a smoker. A bird is too flavorful to fry. My preferred route is whole bird, unstuffed, 265F ish, indirect cooking over the placesetter in a Big Green Egg or pellet smoker. Roughly 4 hours for a 17 lb bird, unstuffed. Place bird over...
Looks interesting with added range and charge rates.
Having had many Audis previously, we looked closely at the SQ8 and RSQ8, they are impressive.

Drove over to Denver RSC this morning at 920AM just to check on follow up to retorque issue. RSC had a crew of at least 6 team members set up in parking lot. 10 minutes later It was completed.
RSC NASCAR had one guy on torque wrench, one on computer vehicle registration and one to direct...
Finally had a day to rip up from Denver at 5,280’ up over Berthoud Pass at 11,307’ elevation and down into Tabernash to our cabin which is roughly at 8,300’. Covered roughly 90 miles each way and a ton of elevation gains and losses.
Berthoud Pass crosses the Continental Divide and has 10+...
So this older couple is driving down from NYC to Florida for the winter. She is driving but can’t hear much, he is copilot.
She gets pulled over at the Florida Georgia line while doing 90 MPH.
Trooper walks up and asks for her license and registration. Being nearly deaf, she says “What...
Please share what works well for you guys?
While a voice command device noob, our other rigs seems to work much easier so would appreciate any suggestions. I’m totally striking out on audio/infotainment commands.
So far for me it is: “Alexa, turn up (or down) the fan”.
