Yep. Exactly like mine. My VIN is in the 20xx.
Keep me posted on what you find out. I'm hoping that there is another solution other than what is currently being requested. I've reached out to my guide to help with the logistics of the fix.
This is the first time I've had a failure after an OTA but the camera behind my rear view mirror (forward facing, used for drive cam, Driver+, Accident Avoidance) did not survive the OTA. Has anybody had this happen and found a way to revive the camera? I have tried Hard and Soft resets with...
I did not ask about his territory but his cell number is from California. Other helpful info:
One mobile tech I have met is based out of SLC but covers parts of Montana on occasion.
Another was based out of Ellensberg, WA and worked for Tesla as a mobile tech prior to signing on with Rivian...
That could have been me (Silver). There's a limestone R1S in Whitefish - randomly parked next to them up at the resort - and a few other R1Ts rolling stone. Not recent, but here's a picture of mine.
If you were here over the past two weeks you got some of the best skiing of the season!

I was not aware that there would be a RAN charger in St Regis! As I was driving through I thought: "This would be a perfect spot for a charger." Either/both of those would be great.
Last friday I made the trip from Kalispell, MT to Spokane, WA (242 mi) to get my seat belt recall looked at while a mobile tech was in that area. The trip goes over two mountain passes in each direction. The summary is:
Temps: 10-30F
Wheels/Tires: 20" w/ Pirelli Scorpion ATs
Avg speed: 54mph...
I swapped my truck from 22s to aftermarket 20s with Pirelli Scoripons in the stock size. My dash image (and I'm guessing my calibration) was displaying the 22s up until the last SC visit in December. When the truck returned it was showing a picture of my LA Silver R1T with 20" dark wheels...
I have designed and 3D printed a few T slot adapters for things like this that I would be happy to share. In this case, however, I used carriage bolts upside down with a small 3D printed square spacer that made sure they didn't rotate while being tightened. See attached.
Bike rack, hauling long boats, towing our camper, towing test fixtures for work, hauling our motorcycle, towing our raft (and combos of all of the above).
Each weekend I drive up to the ski hill here in NW Montana and let the truck sit for the day while the family is skiing. When we get back in and begin the trip down the mountain I think I have a similar experience. In my case, the notification comes on as I vacillate in and out of regen. As I...
Sorry - everybody is seeting their Highway assist heater running 24/7?! I'm aware that vampire drain is an issue experienced by many and have posted accordingly. My question is specifically with the HA heat.
Previously (early 2022) there were posts showing thermal activity (captured by an IR...
Like many others I've been experiencing a fair amount of daily vampire drain in my R1T. As I posted earlier in this thread - on a trip recently I left my truck at the airport and lost an average of 4-4.5% per day sitting idle in ~20F temps.
A few days ago we got a bit of snow and I noticed...
Curiously - I designed and printed a set of load stops for the rack that are a mixture of nylon and TPU. The main load stop body is in nylon with two pads printed in tpu on the top faces of the nylon. I haven't run into any adherence issues yet - any reason why it wouldn't work to print the main...
Interesting. I left my truck at the airport for 3.5 days in ~20F temps. I checked once about 48 hours in (11% loss) and again when I landed (additional 4% loss). This is consistent with the ~4% daily loss others are seeing...
Any idea why you aren't getting 7.2kw charging (30A x 240VAC)? That generator should be able to produce that much power at full (not peak) operation. There is such a thing as generator de-rating...what was the temp and what elevation are you at?
The difference between adding gasoline to my tank and keeping the vehicle above 20% is that the tank won't grow smaller as a result of not having it filled (possibly). This is really what I'm worried about - accelerated battery wear due to poor maintenance.
I'm concerned about long term...
