Oh weird, I just assumed it was your typical spare tire, in that case I'd be a little upset too if it's not meant to be inflated until needed. Probably still a good habit to check it periodically but I would probably be in the same situation as OP
With it on the bed rails, would you think the Thule awning would be any use or would it be too low to sit under comfortably? How hard would it be to unlock the rails and move it to the roof once at a campsite?
Cybertruck design was a complete non-starter and a huge disappointment as I was hoping to get one when rumors first started circulating.
GM vehicles have always looked cheap and trashy to me. I got a work truck trim Silverado EV for a loaner last time my Rivian was in for service and it drives...
That's pretty much what I do. If I know I'm gonna be hauling a thin load I'll usually throw a few spare 2x6 board scraps from the garage in the bed to get the stack height up enough that the straps compress down.
A hard flip out bed extender isn't going to be long enough for 4x8 sheets a net...
Ok so I threw tape on all 4 wheels to ensure it's truly a front suspension issue and not a temperature drop as all 4 corners should be impacted if it's just the air springs cooling down and PV=nRT causing the drop. 13 hours later front is sagging and rears are still where they were. Not an...
Tried the tape method overnight. This is a 9 hour change in an insulated garage. It dawned on me I probably should do all 4 wheels tonight so I can show the rears don't do the same thing so they can't say this is a temperature issue or something that would affect all 4 wheels
LOVE this! I'm gonna do that. The phone rep said if it was dropping over a day or so that would be more suspicious than a week where "the weather changed"
I sent them essentially the same pictures. It's going in for the leak and possible HVAC fix this month so I'll have then check that out too
Well they called me and basically said if it takes a week to drop probably not an issue but they could look at it in the service center. I figured since they just checked it I would wait and see BUT today I was swapping the all weather floor mats out and noticed my carpeting was wet underneath...
Just noticed this issue with my 2022 R1T
and booked an Appt but earliest was April 30, longest wait I've had by far. Is the AC drain line easily accessible to run a brush cleaner through? My Ram had a similar issue just ran a brush through to unclog.
If it needs replaced then I agree. I'd rather them come to me and tell me no replacement then drop it off for 3 days with a rental car possibly not getting reimbursed if it's not an issue to fix.
Well that's pretty resounding. I had it in a month ago and mentioned the issue but didn't have any pictures since it was the first time. Put in for a mobile service request. Thanks!
Hey all,
So I've noticed the last two times we have gone away for a week that when I come back the front suspension has dropped significantly. The first time was about 3 months ago and it was low enough the tires rubbed on the wheel wells when turning slightly.
We just got back from a week...
I love that Rivian uses location in things like lock and unlock, update installs, and the garage openers, I would love it if the climate schedule worked similarly.
I left mine at the airport for vacation and my charge state was dropping the expected 1-1.5% per day initially then suddenly was...
Gotcha! Rack Attack has it on sale for just under $1900 in grey but their photos look more beige gray than yours. Always wanted to get a RTT to get into some camping with the family but have always felt more draw to hard tops but the Approach seems really well reviewed so glad to hear it's not...
