I prefer matte screens and tried a few brands when I first picked up my R1T 2yrs ago.
I finally settled on Screen ProTech and have been very happy with them:

Here are my 2 cents after through most of this thread. I've messed around with the batteries a few times as I have added a Garmin Powerswitch and have installed a variety of aftermarket lights.
I think it could be possible OP shorted something out during install. Question is... what? A fuse? A...
I went with K03s recently, 2 of which took quite a bit of weight to balance, and 3 visits to get right... How did these balance? Did they take a lot of weight?
Huge fan. I've used it so many times to air up after the trails, dealing with the changes in weather/temp, reinflating a tire every 15mins to get to my destination last 1hr of a roadtrip ( :CWL: ), airing up other vehicles, etc. Quality product.
Love Apex Designs products but the fact that these stick out so much on the OEM 20"s has kept me from purchasing them. Also, this means someone can walk by and deflate your tires right?
I've been happy with my Staun Deflators for years now although they take a bit more time to deflate the...
Considering we just got the mobile udpate showing the updated design language, I would think we're a couple of weeks out from seeing the OTA update in the wild.

Overall, for the price I paid (15% off sale), I'm happy with them. Kids and the wife like the step part of it (I don't really need the step). Install was easy enough but I kept the plastics off in case I ever go back to stock. I do prefer the look of the Megawatt sliders but they are more $$$...
I too waited and waited for some sliders that aren't steps. I found the same info on Bill, prototypes, etc.
I ended up getting GOAT sliders and put them to use this past weekend with some rock crawling. They held up well to a HARD hit (blind hole I missed) and only caused a minimal dent on the...
Nice job on the pricing. Totally in line with the competition and a different take on the usage of the gear tunnel. I'd be a buyer if I didn't already have a gear tunnel slide.
Mine are installed! Went swimmingly until the very last one (front driver side). Fought me for a while. Could have used another couple pairs of hands and it’s such little room to work with as is. Rear is silly easy. I’ll be sending some feedback to @MountainPassPerformance.
I adjusted for...
