I charged up in Royce City on way up, those were older EA chargers. Finally got them to work after 30mins and calling customer support who told me to activate the charge from the app.
EA chargers are currently being replaced in Bellmead.
Charged in Ennis at the updated EA chargers (3 out of...
Just drove back to Austin today from NE TX. Averaged about 2.4mi/kw on way up the other day and 1.8 on way down today, both with rainy weather and driving around speed limit (sometimes below to conserve on way down).
Seems that a moderate tail wind or head wind makes quite the difference.

My kind of DIY tinkerer. I've literally been thinking of buying a 3D printer and use this project as a way to learn how to use it. Nice work. Can't wait for someone to sell a version like this or provide files to get it printed w/ the correct material list. I tried using ABS w/ 60% fill and it...
Sorry to bring up an old thread... but did you figure out a pass through in the firewall?
I'm going to be tackling a Midland MXT575 radio install and will be needing to get a Cat6 cable from the frunk into the cabin.
EDIT: Looking a bit more, seems like OP sold his truck... so I went down the...
I chose these two parts and they happen to be for 2 car brands but the pigtail looks to be an exact fit. I imagine they all use the same manufacturers for this stuff.
12V Outlet: GENUINE FORD EXPLORER CENTER CONSOLE 12V POWER OUTLET WITH BLACK TRIM (No part number)

UPDATE: 12V Outlet delivered and installed.
I'm waiting to receive the OEM pigtail I ordered. It will be as close to OEM as I can make it.
BE CAREFUL where you drill your hole! Where I put mine is as close to the left when looking over it as you want to be. It's about where I could tell the...
Noted. I actually thought about the dash interfering, but too late, my order is in production. I will mess around with it when I receive it and see what angle works best. I will try sanding it down if it doesn't need all that much clearance from the dash.
The Peak Design case with the Peak Design charger is a great combo. I haven’t had a chance to go off-roading yet with the new truck but certainly did with my Tacoma Pro and never had issues at high offroad speed or rock crawling.
If you’re worried you could look at the perfect squeeze from...
Wish I had a 3D printer... wouldn't mind a little more height on the otherwise perfect 17mm Pro mount.
EDIT: Ordering it from Craftcloud. Did ABS with 60% infill... hope I chose properly, I have almost zero idea how this stuff works. Thanks for the file!
They did post a pic of the truck being jacked up via the slider.
I do agree with you though, 1600lbs isn't the same as 7200lbs of truck (even if you take half of that) slamming down on a rock.
We're getting there though. Looking forward to seeing the install process and some real-world usage.
