Is this VIN for a vehicle you purchased from the R1 Shop? Or is Rivian (finally) filling your 2019 preorder with this VIN?

Fulfilling 2019 PreOrder. I am in NC and equally far from Richmond VA SC and Atlanta GA SC which has been the delay. Got Shop access in July but few R1S in shop meeting our spec. Was pleasantly surprised with VIN.

Other posts on this forum have reported R1S VINs ending in PN022XXX for recent production. And you got PN0035XX? That VIN would be December or January production. Looks like an unpleasant surprise to me. What am I missing, Jeff?

2020 Oct/Nov reservation for LE

Honestly I totally almost-forgot my order or maybe trying not to think about it for sure... Meantime bunch of friends joined Rivian ha..

2023 Aug 31 email recived for upcoming vehicle assignment, no VIN no guide

2023 Sept 1 R1 Shop access, select LE LG (original was LE white), 22 Sport Bright, Forest + Warm wash wood (I did not communicate with guide because I did not know I have assigned Guide)

2023 Sept 2 VIN assigned 209xx
2023 Sept 5 firdt time spoke with Guide (and my friends who trained guides). Told me that R1S is about to ship to Dallas SC. Once arrives SC will contact me. No detail but nice.

2023 Sept 15 morning, Dallas SC texted me R1S arrived and offered pick up date range (from Sept 19 ~ Oct 2 Mon - Sat each week)

Since quite busy this week for work, probably pick it up Saturday coming!

Congrats! Hope all goes well! My vin is about 500 higher than yours so hopefully my turn is soon…the SC said my R1S should be in Brooklyn by the end of month
