R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

I had a guide already but previously suggested priority which appears true
1) Demo drive - shop access request 2) guide request 3) CS though I can't remember anyone being successful

Pretty sure they are still making LEs, they are still making LEs R1Ts


edit: there are different shops, I haven't seen the west coast posted in a while, probably has the most LEs

Finally settled down on a 2023 R1S in El Cap Granite with Ocean Coast/dark wood interior and the low rolling resistance 21in tire/aero rim combo to maximize my range. 3 more purchasing steps to go!

Updates: Contract signed. VIN #...8439. The R1S is still in Normal IL but will be shipped out any moment now. Unfortunately, it will take up to 4 weeks to reach my nearest RSC. Sometimes, waiting is the hardest thing of all...

Quick question - what VIN range was your LE? Trying to figure out if they’re still making these or if the rest we’ll see are mostly Adventure with the occasional LE to fulfill customer orders.

82xx - there were 3 other LEs that I could see in the Shop. In the last week I've noticed a change from mostly LEs, to mostly Adventures.

Random question for those asked for R1S Shop access and got it: did any of you request and get access before you had a guide assigned, or is having a guide a prerequisite? I don’t have a guide yet. Hoping that won’t matter.

I ended up with this as well but with 20 a/t. I was not sure of Ocean Coast with kids but decided to go ahead instead of waiting until July-Sept.

Any tips for getting access to the shop? I did my First Mile back in January which I think was before the R1S shop opened so I didnt know to request access then. I tried going through customer service, but the rep told me access was being granted in order based on preorder dates and acted surprised when I told him people who reserved after me already have gotten access and even selected vehicles. I haven't been assigned a guide yet (July 2021 reservation), so I can't go that route. Thanks for any suggestions

earlier in the thread someone did another deposit, did another demo drive got access and canceled to get deposit back

You can try contacting the local service center if that's where you did your test drive. That was how I originally got my Shop access for my T last year. The service center can submit a form that might get you access.
