We needed to move a flammables cabinet and the truck was just sitting there...so we loaded it up. It fits easily and the forklift had no trouble setting the pallet inside the bed.

Looks great! How heavy is the cabinet and did the suspension auto level?

Wow... Imagine that... A truck actually being used to do truck stuff.

Looks good. I also plan on using my R1T as a truck... Also curious about the suspension and leveling. I'm assuming it leveled itself, but curious if it did it after placing the load or after the truck adjusted suspension to drive?

Yeah, can't win with the spare tire implementation on most current trucks... Ford hangs it underneath so it's always dirty and susceptible to the elements or damage from off-road / job site terrain. Rivian and a few others place it in the bed so if you have a ton of stuff in your bed, you have to unload it all to change a tire... I know that I won't get a flat in my R1T until the day I'm hauling a palette of bricks. ...Then there's the Hummer EV that has no onboard means of hauling a spare unless you add a Baja-style tire rack in your bed or throw on a roof rack or trailer. At least the Hummer SUV rear-mounts the spare, which works with its shorter wheelbase.

The cabinet plus pallet is about 225 pounds. The suspension didn't seem to care about it at all...nice, level, and comfortable.

The truck did sag slightly when I let the load settle on the bed, but before I got around to getting the forklift away and parked, the truck looked level. It didn't seem to do any extra adjusting after starting it and driving away.

Hopefully you remembered to remove the flammables from the cabinet before loading:idea:

Oh yeah, no way two of us could have extracted that sucker loaded. The bed liner shows no wear.
