I too just received schedule to pick up R2 LE at OK City VIN 23xx August 14. Glacial White w/20” and spare tire. Reserved 5/28/2026, Ordered 07/28/2026. Have an expiring BMW EV lease…must be prioritizing buyers who with expiring leases. I live 170 miles from SC.

I certainly hope that is the case. Got an expiring R1S lease in two weeks and was given a delivery week of 8/3.

Hopefully my R2 delivery is soon, since I would prefer not to extend my lease

The Rivian CS told me, “While I don't see the exact details of your position in the queue, we've been ramping up launch green. Expecting any day now.” I ordered the same configuration as you but on 7/14 and am still waiting for vin. I’m assuming the color that we picked is causing our delay.

I've seen people report a handful of LG 21" VINs going out in the last couple of days so hopefully we're next. I'm 7/28 LG 20" but have a lease expiring soon, please let us know if you receive yours.

I had a trade-in value early on but some of the documents were processing for a while. The CSR told me they review certain documents only once the vehicle is in transit. Once I got my delivery date I checked again and all the "in review" items were now "complete". There does seem to be some variance with different service centers though, so your best bet is to contact Rivian ([email protected]) and ask what's going on.

Interesting and now I'm worried. My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow, 5 Aug, and several of my items are still in review; Title/Reg, Finance, and insurance. My delivery was rescheduled once from 3 Aug to 5 Aug due to transit delays. I'll reach out to the delivery team in a few hours to get an update.

Quick update on my R2 in case it helps anyone tracking East Coast deliveries:

I ordered on 6/16 and my R2 left Normal on 7/17. I originally had a Malvern pickup scheduled for Friday, August 7, but Rivian’s system is now showing the vehicle arriving at Malvern on August 7, not being ready for delivery that morning.

I spoke directly with Alexa at the Malvern service center this morning. She confirmed the vehicle still has not reached the Maryland rail hub and said Friday is no longer realistic. I moved my pickup to August 24 at 10:00 AM since we will be away.

VIN ending in 02922. Launch Green Performance with 20-inch Black Sand all-terrains.

The main takeaway is that the scheduled delivery date may be the estimated service-center arrival date, and the vehicle can still need additional time for unloading, PDI, charging and final prep.

This depends on location. In SoCal they are not scheduling till the arrive at the local hub.

Just got my invite and placed my order! Esker, black int. with 20s!

My timeline for those curious (No lease timing involved). Reserved during announcement. original order window was dec-feb, updated preference to Performance at beg. of July and received a 2-4 week order window on July 7, then a 1-2 week window on July 21 and today right at 2 weeks the order invite. In Austin, going to try to get delivery in Normal.

Thanks for sharing. I’m scheduled to take delivery in Malvern on 8/19. I don’t know when (if) it left Normal or when it’s scheduled to arrive in Malvern, how did you get that info?
my specifics: ordered LG w/21” on 6/17. VIN 1888 assigned on 7/2. Delivery notification on 7/29.

I placed my order on July 28. CC 20". I received the VIN on August 3 and completed my paperwork. They finished their "check“ this morning (Aug 4) and I got an email from a rep at the Miami SC. I don't see the delivery information in my account, but the rep told me 2-3 weeks. I assume they may still be waiting for the ACH from my bank to finalize before it shows up in my account.
