Thanks for the details. The Kia Nav is pretty bad so I'm looking forward to something better. I tried ABRP in the past but didn't like it as much as Plugshare. I'll have to look again for my next trip.

I'm not a Rivian owner yet, just a EV6 (hoping for an R2 soon), why not use the native nav system? It is one thing I am looking forward too since the EV6 one is terrible. Also, don't you need a OBD dongle to get real time battery info for ABRP plus the ABRP subscription? Thanks for the insight.

The local SC called me today in response to my customer service call yesterday. He was very helpful but couldn't quickly verify and promised to text, or call back once he verified. It seems strange that it is that difficult to verify, maybe the data went into the invite to order algorithm...

It is not a Rivian and that policy makes sense. Although I haven’t seen that in writing any where or wasn’t told that. I explicitly said I was leasing a Kia and at the demo he didn’t correct me to say it was Rivian only.

Both Glen Burnie MD SC and Gaithersburg told me that Glen Burnie will be delivering soon. Hopefully another option for the DMV.

I did a demo drive today and have a lease expiring next month and not a peep about getting priority. I hope it is true though.

I got the 3rd one. Mid March 2026 reservation, near term expiring lease, and not a current owner. Also less then 10 miles from a service center, Glen Burnie, MD but according to virginia_rivian, I'll have to go to Gaithersburg, 40+miles away. Which seems to align with trying to get a demo...
