Did you all compare 0-60 and 1/4 mile with the R2 and MYP?
Yes! Kyle should have a video on that soon, I don't recall but MYP did great from 0-60 and then R2 kicked butt the rest of the way defeating the Model Y.

It does pull HARD from ~ 35/40-90 for sure. I would say a current PLAID S would do better than the MYP, but for an “SUV” in this class, it’s silly torque power.

Have you been in a Plaid. It would pull a train length on the R2 from 60mph pull. The R2 feels a little slower than my Highland M3P from 50 but considering its an SUV, thats pretty good. Of course anything Tri-motor is in another league probably (including the R1).

Mildly disappointing but I don't want any other car, so just waiting on a forest green cloud from the coast so I can order :giggle:
Oh, and to be clear, if we were still doing a 2nd vehicle replacement, it would be very high on the list, since that over the past couple of decades has been our "local", knockaround, chores, daily use, entering into the unknown (in terms of parking and whatnot).

The lease numbers were terrible, but that was definitely secondary to the vehicle itself. Our situation just changed so much, we're bailing on having a second vehicle (and replacement for the primary/only ride is a different action :) )

I guess that's my verbose way of saying, I totally dig on the R2, the available range wouldn't really factor into it for us 😎 It's plenty.

Interesting how similar the performance was between launch mode and sport mode without it. I'd like to see a sw update to improve the relatively sluggish initial acceleration from a stop.

I suspect it's at least partly their way of keeping 609 ft-lbs under 5000lbs of mass from shredding the shoes. :p

Doesn’t the newest SW update introduce the LAUNCH mode? (Maybe they call it rally) that unlocks the apparent 3.4-3.6 0-60 launch? that seems pretty tight.
