in one of his videos he commented on this. He said he knows many people think his videos are too long and he talks to much. He said he tried to change but then realized that is just the way he is, and that is the way he will do his videos. It is great to know who you are and embrace it.

Personally, I really like his videos. At 1.5X.

I speed up most videos. If they talk fast., 1.5x is too hard to watch. But Kyle is talks relatively slowly. And he has a lot of filler talk, which is fine, but at 1.5x it is understandable and listenable. I especially like it when he "geeks out", using his term.

Kyle (and the out of spec "family") are an acquired taste listen, but I feel they speak to a certain population of car buyers/enthusiasts.

J and L are a better friend They skip 10 seconds vs. 5 seconds for the arrow keys. Also, there's an annoying issue where if you adjust the volume with the mouse, the focus will move to the volume slider and after that the arrow keys will adjust the volume but the J and L keys still work.

< and > (shift-, and shift-.) are also a great way to quickly adjust the speed.

But most people these days are on their phones and won't know what we're talking about

Yes but certainly nothing to do with LEFT arrow, RIGHT arrow or J and L keys.

Also really annoying because it's easy to accidentally hit the buttons that skip to an entirely different video when you're trying to do it.

I get it. Kyle and his shenanigans can take a toll on his audience. I would not own a Hyundai Ioniq 5 had I not watched his review almost 4 years ago. My car has been great. The issue hear is his passion can be a turn off. Why we should cheer him on is because manufacturers watch his videos and listen to his criticisms. We will have a better R2 once he‘s done with his videos series because Rivian take note on any improvements that need to be prioritized. I implore every normal human/consumer to not watch his videos without skipping or speeding thru any Out of Spec video.

I can appreciate and watch the content while still being a bit taken aback by some of his comments. I understand he's built a business off reviews and being first out there with content is somewhat essential to that business. But, he does come off as an entitled kid that didn't get what he wanted, when he wanted it. His point, Day 1 minute 1 preorder makes sense, but then there was the R1 debacle that made so many years long preorder holders right pissed.

Can someone share a timestamp of cut the line Kyle complaining about not being able to cut the line this time? Since he skipped me and many others for the Gen 1 R1Ts we were all waiting for, I could use the lulz of him bitching about not getting special treatment again.
