Seems to be massively supply constrained and weighted heavily on the location. Minute zero reservation on two R2’s (reserved before presentation even began), multiple R1 owner. 100mi from service center.
I just received my invite to finalize my order (I'd reserved first hour first day). Once I clicked/confirmed the light interior, a message popped up telling me I was "on the list". A few minutes later, the local service center called to confirm what I wanted. They had 60 invites go out today, just for his center. That's a nice number!
TBD when the next invite will arrive.
FYI: I've probably received a 100 emails from Rivian since they confirmed my reservation. If you've received only the reservation email, in two years, then search your email account thoroughly. Check the Trash Folder too...maybe your significant other doesn't want the car payments.
I haven't received any emails but i just checked the app and it said i'm invited to order. I made my reservation on March 27, 2024. Had a demo drive last Friday.
My email has a time but does not state a time zone. I am in EST - does it default to that time zone as I don’t see an option for timezone (I use Outlook/Hotmail).

Reservation email was 12:01 central time on 3/7/24. Got the "bad email" but got invite to order this morning at 11:01 central. Not currently a Rivian owner but do live close to Chicago.
