I actually got an email yesterday saying to complete my order, then a phone call about a matching vehicle an hour and a half from my location (Eastvale service center). They gave me the option of taking it or to wait.

Just received my invite and placed my order today. Going Launch green with Black Crater and 20" Black Sand wheels. Would love to see the stealth ppf once its done. That will be my first upgrade once delivery happens.

Hey, I got a quick question. What level is the stock tint on the windows and more importantly on the roof. Did you have to purchase the tint, or was it already built into the glass. I know there was some talk about ceramic tint.

It's just factory tint. I think it's %20 but not sure.

No, I did not have to pay extra. All Rivians come with the back windows tinted.

Looks great! I assume this is Launch Green? It looks lighter (and nicer IMHO) than on their website. Looks more like a sage green than army green.

It's not tint. It's privacy glass.

privacy glass offers almost no real heat rejection or UV protection. That means your interior still heats up, your air conditioning works overtime, and your skin is exposed to harmful UV rays

Also, just a quick note about matte PPF. I did it one one my R1S's. I love the look but won't do it again.

That vehicle unfortunately needed some body repair (I have a long thread about that incident and process). Once fixed and paint blended I think 3 panels were gloss and needed PPF again (and ceramic re-applied on top of the new PFF). Vehicle looked really funky for a while and I had considered removing all the old PPF. Had it been clear PPF, I may have left it as is since it's hard to tell the difference.

That same vehicle also recently needed the driver's door handle replaced so I had to get matte PPF again. Thankfully I was able to buy some door handle PPF from @twraps and re-apply the film myself. I'm also going to DIY ceramic just the handle since the rest of the car has ceramic.

TLDR: Matte/stealth looks great but is a pain in the ass in case of body repair. Love the look but I personally won't be doing it again.
