What’s Coming in Rivian’s 2026.15.30 Hotfix

I updated yesterday. Drove around some today, 30 miles or so. Everything I tried worked fine...UHF, Texting with punctuation, no issues.

Currently on 2026.15.0. Just got offered 2026.15.01. Release notes seem the same (all RA stuff). Did I miss where they re-released 2026.15.30 as 2026.15.01?

Discouraging. I wish we could hold off on the download. Delay of installation does nothing.

Good news is I noticed no issues after the 1st install. And after the 2nd install all is fine.

What is getting messed up when you switch profiles?

It keeps switching to my wife's profile for no reason. Even if she gets in the car last, even if I was the last driver. I'm primary on the car, and that means almost nothing.

Only when she is with you, I assume? That happens to me also. I sometimes open the door for my wife, and that almost always causes her profile to be selected.

The most annoying thing about it is the seat position. I set it up so it moves the seat back for "easy entry", and I just switch the profile back to mine before I press on the brake pedal and the seat starts moving forward, crushing me into the steering wheel. LOL.

FWIW - My Rivian app was updated last night, which in my observation, is usually a precursor to the update being pushed out. And true to form, .30 is not downloading and installing!

My smart turn signal is not working. I’m not sure if it stopped working after this fix or prior. I tried toggling the setting off and on, but no dice. Anyone else experienced this?

I lost the smart turn signal about two weeks ago. I had hoped that the update would right the ship, but this morning's drive to work still wasn't working.

I've done a soft reset, but I will try a hard reset tonight before leaving the office. I can post back around 6:30 to let you know the status and whether the hard reset worked.

No dice - smart turn signal is still missing in action.

Yeah I noticed it went to my wife's profile even though she wasn't with me.

same thing is happening with us, even I get to the truck first, it will switch two her as she comes up on the passenger side. annoying, didn’t do this before the last update. Hotfix installed last night haven’t tested yet. remote control via the app seems better and no longer timing out.
