Phone charger didn't work for me, but employees said it worked earlier.

Since it's magsafe, it's a lot more picky about phone position than the R1 charger. I'm used to pushing my phone back against the center console, had to move my phone maybe a half inch forward to get it to snap onto the magsafe before it started working.

Good to know. I have Android, so no mag safe, but wireless charging should work regardless... Although I've never tried using a mag safe charger on my phone now that I think about it

yeah, I bought a mag-safe case for my android this time around. I knew this was coming and might be an issue.

Holy shit! That thing MOVES! What a thrill to whip around LA for the short time I had in it. I’ll likely book another demo drive.

There was no frenzy at the Venice, CA location. I got to sit in the demo car after the drive for as long as I wanted. I hear El Segundo was a mad house though.

Noon and 1pm were available for tomorrow closest to me, I can't make either of those, then they were filled about 5 minutes later. Scheduler only showed tomorrow. I'm available Friday and Saturday so I guess I'll check back.

Rivian rep walked me out to the R2 and walked me through some quick setup (seat position, mirrors, steering wheel, etc) then said here's a route you can take (set as home/work locations in the UI), but if you're familiar with the area feel free to explore and we'll see you back in a half hour.
