Well I hope they have silently fixed the UHF disengagement that tried to put us into a guardrail on I-70.

I use one of two approaches depending on what else I need to have in the bed. Usually it’s a very well padded raceface 5-bike tailgate pad. Otherwise I have several thru-axle mounts (à la rocky mounts drop top) that go on a track bolted on the front bulkhead. I ended up getting two tracks for top and bottom of the bulkhead but usually use the top and put the rear wheels on a crossbar across the bed or a shelf I built that attaches via u-bolts that accommodated the smaller kid bikes and the larger bikes. Probably not the most optimized setup but pretty versatile. I am often either carrying just my bike or, my bike plus three other bikes plus a bunch of camping gear. The tracks are also from RockyMounts . They just require you to drill one additional hole in the track to accommodate the existing threaded mounting points in the Rivian bed front bulkhead.I am happy to hear I wont need to have more punctuation conversations with RA
@Marchin_MTB, offtopic...seeing your screen name, I must ask...what bike rack do you have on your R1T? I just replaced my MTB (replaced one I got like 20yrs ago!) and I really like everything I see with the Kuat Piston SR.
You mean you DONT like it when you're trying to have RA navigate you somewhere and your kids yell "tell a poop joke!" Until you scream at them to shut up?Is it just me or do others not like that when RA gets activated it doesn't pause the music and everything is just playing in the background? I find that it makes it hard to hear the response and if it's a long response then I'm missing a big chunk of the podcast or music that I'm listening to. Frankly I'd prefer that it just pauses the music/radio/podcast so that I can properly hear what it's saying.
Also, it would be nice to recognize the voice that started the query and ignore all other voices so it doesn't pick up comments made by my kids, for example.
Mine has not changed as far as I can tell. Have you tried a hard reboot?Seems sensitivity monitoring your focus on the road during assisted driving has become more sensitive. Driving this past weekend I was very focused direct on the road and yet getting warnings at least every minute. To the point of being annoying and had to steer myself. Anyone else?
Counterpoint, I'm a Rivian homer but it's ok to call things out when they release half baked stuff. I give Tesla a TON of shit for beta testing on end users. I'll do the same to Rivian. Doesn't mean i hate my Rivian, but the first launch was barely useable to me. Nearly nothing I tried worked the way it was supposed to. It also broke other things (Highway Assist) unless you knew to do something that the update didn't tell you that you needed to do.And they have been fixed in a matter of weeks. It does many things well and you DON’T have to use it - it is optional. So either switch it off, or use it but cut the incessant whinging about software that was clearly highlighted as evolving/improving at launch.
