I hate to rub it in but I recall that being one of the greatest games ever !
Final was NZ 34 - AUS 17 but you are right it was a better game than the score indicated. NZ became the first team win 3 titles. Two of the quarterfinals were excellent, though. AUS 35 - SCO 34 and RSA 23 - Wales 19. Was an amazing trip even without the final

If anyone is interested, I will be looking for someone to donate a 2026 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric for a completely legitimate and scientific study that I plan on starting in 2026. Anyone with contacts or willing to donate I can provide my build sheet (approx. $223,572 MSRP) via Direct Message.

If needed, I can have ChatGPT create a hypothesis for my scientific study for your financial or tax write-off purposes. I am sure ChatGPT can give the information you may need.

From owning one Taycan, looking extensively at a Macan EV and to my wife's Audi Q8, it seems VAG is not embracing one-pedal driving in any substantive way. I like how they implemented it in the Audi but so far you have to go well out of your way to get whatever little regenerative braking you can on a Porsche.
Test drove the S6 E-tron and 1 pedal drive was really easy to get to, just pull on the shifter to put it in B mode like my i4. I know the Tacan was not there and neither is the Macan or Cayenne as Porsche believes people want to use the brake pedal.

Love that rally/ off road version. I should be able to afford a used 2026 model in approximately 2050 2048 if I start saving now and sell all my belongings:asshat:
I'm not sure if I'll be alive still by 2048

I know exactly how you feel. I went through that sticker shock with the 2015 Rugby World Cup in London. I decided I would rather see all the quarterfinal matches vs. just the final because we couldn't afford to see everything we wanted to.:crying:
Can't explain why but I like playing the sport more than watching others. Rugby was my first love but had to give it up when I moved here. Cheers.

Unfortunately, Porsche is wrong about that.
Disagree, im and ev only household and can't stand one pedal driving. Hyundai has the one of the best setups, 4 levels of regen you can control with paddle shifter. Porsche will never have one pedal driving

It's a mistake to not provide the option and let the customer determine their preferred approach.

For me, not having one pedal drive is nearly a deal breaker. I greatly prefer the one pedal experience.

Porsche designed an EV SUV that's essentially a race car, they're all race cars.. There won't be much cross shopping between the Porsche Cayenne and either Rivian or Tesla or any other EV.

They live on another planet all together. If you haven't test driven a Porsche or done a track event in GA, AL, CA it is eye opening the level of performance even their lowest level vehicles generate.

In the 90 minute Boxster drive in Atlanta at their headquarter track we launched a 115mile brand new Boxster 20 times 5 in the rain and I felt like I was going to be sick from the g forces and the abuse to the car. My amateur track speed were well over 100 on the straight and it's not a big track. The skidpad and drifting portion while not great demonstrated the car was so balanced a first time driver could do it. I bought one and almost killed myself multiple times in the GA mountains and having to get rid of it in the first year. I almost bought a 911 manual right after, but thought better of it and got the R1T.

I configured one at $125k or almost $140k out the door in CA. It looks great and has great specs, but above my pay grade. Not sure that they will sell many with the terrible depreciation reputation that they have now.

I've spent a bit of time with Porsches. They are absolutely great cars specially the 911 and the 718. But, the SUV are not that great. They are definitely not race cars. The 911 DNA didnt quite transfer to the SUVs. I did cross-shop the Tycan with the Rivian but that could be just me. I will say that the handling of the Rivian (for a 7.5k lbs car) is one of the best SUVs I've driven.

Unless you have a wife (like a friend I have) that threatens to kill you daily, you should be fine.
No, just a cat with pancreatitis that is threatening to bankrupt me and a job that is shortening my life expectancy.
