I’m not into drag racing, but I do enjoy it when some pumped up 4x4 pulls up next to me at the light, roaring mightily, as if about to go to war, and then calmly, quietly and smoothly pulling well clear of him when it turns green. I just can’t understand how anyone can enjoy that harsh ride and deafening noise, even at 30mph. Don’t their girlfriends tell them, “dude, grow up. It looks like you’re compensating?”

My wife has a bad back so I'm not able to enjoy the power of our R1S Quad (20 AT's) when she's with me. About a year ago we were next to some idiot in a Maserati at a string of four lights spaced about 1/4 mile apart. At each light he'd rev the engine and take off, only to have to stop at the next light. I really regret not being able to show him what the large SUV next to him could do...

Every Raptor owner I have talked to thinks it is the last word in high performance trucks - until they meet a Rivian.

I've posted this video before, but it cracks me up every time I watch it. Raptor owner's perception of his truck meets reality in 3 seconds.
