Also for the people that keep wondering if its air suspension or not there you go Mcpherson strut set up in the fronts.

There’s been talk of possible adjustable dampers with the MacPherson Struts. Which could be part of testing with this 4 post rig I suppose.

I notice that the cutout above windshield center is there still. I’m beginning to think that R2 will indeed have LiDar

these are test mules so i would't count on it until its been officially announced.

Just for fun I asked a buddy who sells industrial vibration testing equipment like this. He instantly IDed it as an MTS 329, invented by a guy who was a pillar at MTS in the 70s. Said it goes for about $2MM + all the facility work to install/run it. Said the guy in question had a scale model of it in his garage on top of his beer fridge with a scale model Jag E-type on it.

It’s definitely possible. With these design validation builds we’ll either see a LiDar unit or it will go away since RJ posts these tests and photos regularly.
