My freezing temp average was right around 2mi/kwh, or ~182mi from Nov-March in downeast Maine winter, parked outside every day. As the weather warms it’s at around 2.4 and continues to climb. Expect to get EPA or better for most of the season until October ish.

I daily charge to 70% on the max pack so that's standard pack range and it's fine for around town and most trips in LA. Our GX470 only has a usable range of about 270 miles before we get nervous about how accurate the gas gauge is. A fifteen minute DC charge in the lower band of the pack feels like a relaxing gas stop and good for about 50kwh.

I do tow and I wouldn't recommend that with a standard pack unless you are really patient. You'll be able to do one way to most beach RV state parks in the area though. With hookups you can fill back up while you relax at the beach. If that's your plan it might be fine otherwise if extensive towing is in your future, get a bigger battery. We have slept in the R1S when it's just two of us and it's the most comfortable SUV I've slept in.

For longer trips with the kids we tow. Much more work than lightweight/quick/short camping but that has nothing to do with the tow vehicle. 1.6mpkwh with vacation driving.
