Hi,
I took delivery of my R1S Tri a few weeks ago. At delivery, the Rivian guy helping me set up the car got to the Apple Music app and said "oh, this is a bug... this sign-in won't work no matter what we try"... and I just sort of let it go at the time. Not sure why I didn't press harder or push back.
Since then, I still have no ability to sign in. Video attached. I don't get a QR code, I have never signed in on this car... but I would like to use Apple Music.
Have spoken to many Rivian support people who are stumped.
I was hoping that the new software update (now installed) would fix it... but no luck.
I have tried every reset (hard and soft). Other apps (Spotify, Sirus, Tidal) all work. There's nothing to try on my Apple Music phone/app/account because this Rivian has never known my account or linked even once.
Before I take it in for service (which is somewhat infuriating to have to do for a brand new car for a software issue) -- I would love any ideas and feedback I could get here.
