How’s the front suspension noise?

I have a gen 2 dual max R1S. Haven’t noticed any noise from the suspension, between high and low heights

I didn't have the car for a terribly long time. I would have liked to take it along some of the roads that I normally travel when I hear noises in the gen1 vehicles. But overall I didn't hear any noise at all from it.

I bet replacing the dampers will solve this for Gen1.

Right now I am waiting to see the R2 in person. If that is 'enough' for me I think. a tri-motor R2 could replace my QM R1S. Right now the QM is just too expensive for what I am looking at .

How’s the front suspension noise?

Have a Gen1 R1T, had a Gen 1 R1S. Now have a Gen2 R1S. I don't hear the suspension noises in the Gen2.

I also haven't heard the damn air compressor from the interior thankfully.

The only thing I really have a complaint about so far is that the USBs in the center console seem to need some help from the software gods and the new wireless phone charger is shit. Which is being resolved by @Sojhinn with the S00nish charger.

How loud is it? I also have a gen 2 with zero complaints except the compressor/heat pump is so loud (outside the cabin). No idea if it’s normal loud our not as I have no baseline to measure. First time it was in the garage, I was sitting inside the house & thought someone was running a lawnmower in the garage.

Is it the heatpump compressor noise or the cooling fan you are hearing? I notice the cooling fan likes to at 100% far too frequently (such as A/C charging, sitting alone in the garage, looking at it funny, etc...) but the heatpump compressor is rarely heard above the fan noise in my case.

air compressor is quiet. The HVAC is loud outside of the cabin.

Funny story time. My father had a 1990 Pontiac Grand Am with the 2.5 Tech II 4cly. When I was a teenager I always knew Dad was on his way back. When the AC was on the electric cooling fan could be heard two blocks away.

What I was hearing with Gen 2 was not necessarily compressor noise. It was fan noise.

Fortunately though it's a lot less expensive to replace a wireless charger than suspension parts.

Yes, I think all rivian would have to do with this is to angle the wireless charger slightly up in the front. That would prevent it from moving forward and the divider would keep it from moving side to side.
