I'm curious if this is the Large+ variant they mentioned, or if it’s the 'real' Large pack with 109.5 usable kWh. Its a bit confusing for users because I think it makes a significant difference if it’s software locked instead.

I guess we won't know until someone gets one and fast charges it but I would put my money on software locked max pack.

Some of them are going pretty fast, was considering switching to DM Large, Midnight, Dark Package and Dark 22s, after an hour it was gone.

Why is Rivian not pricing the R1S standard pack at $79,990 to leverage the $7,500 federal tax credit?

The listed range on the Rivian site is all over the place. A R1S Dual Large with A/T pack in the shop is listed at 292 miles, the same options in the builder is 280 miles.
