I had the garage notification gone this morning after the update. Didn't have to reset truck, infotainment or location to get it back this time, just flipped the location toggle on each and it was fine when I returned.
Don't regularly drive a road for D+, so don't know if that is gone or not and may not for a bit to see.
I did notice the volume increases - even with BT streaming. Felt like things sounded fuller, but hadn't made any other changes.
Enabled Apple Music and didn't get a chance to listen to much yet. I had turned 3d off, turned that back on as not sure if it needs that setting for Atmos or if it would just decode as such. If that is mentioned in the manual, I haven't RTFM yet either

So this is my third update. The other 2 showed progress after I hit “go”, but this update is staying at 0. Which is the normal?

Never mind, I was too impatient. It is showing progress now.

I have the same question. It appears the answer is “no”. As much a Alexa sucks, I miss not having her at all lol.

Does anyone know of a way to A-delete the music apps that aren’t being used, or B-designate one app to be “primary??

I was hoping for a noticeable improvement in sound after reading peoples comments. Instead I completely lost my left side speakers, so I was stuck in mono on my drive to work. Will reset before heading home later today - hope that helps. Anyone else have this issue? R1T, Rivian system on Spotify.

When I first updated my channels were reversed (right was playing out of left speakers and left playing out of right). After a sleep cycle it corrected itself, so hopefully that’s the same for you.

Updated last night. Experienced the volume increase. Lost location-triggered garage control but came back after a hard reset and toggle of the garage control.

I have a gen 2 and gear guard is working for me. I’m hopeful this update fixes the USB issues we’ve been experiencing. Upon first install gear guard is now working and showing my storage device. Time will tell if it stays that way. Previously if I did a soft reset gear guard would work for a day or two, then go away.

Installed the update a few hours ago. Very disappointed to find out that the garage door control is no longer on the steering wheel. That was the perfect place for it.

That didn't happen to mine -- still there so you may just need to reset.

I don't understand why Rivian can't figure out the garage control icon on the drivers screen goes missing in action....this is twice for me now after updates. Also, lost location-triggered garage control and had to do what you did. All I know is my wife walked in the door and said, garage icon is gone again.....and walked away....lol

Update to my update: Gear guard and center console USB ports are no longer working…. Interesting part about gear guard though and noticed this on previous update, it is working and is recording to my external drive, even if it says no drive connected. It just displays that it’s not working. Also it doesn’t work to charge a phone via those USB ports. This is probably more frustrating as the charging pad sucks, so plugging in a phone requires using a 2nd row port.
