Agreed. Every Rivian owner should have a set for rotations, tire changes or a roadside repair. Small insurance policy.Yes, absolutely critical to lift the vehicle safely. Various threads here have noted previous underbody damage from shops that lacks pucks/expertise. I haven't had my R1 long enough to do a rotation yet, but I carry these, a bottle jack, chocks, and a torque wrench with me:

See tow operator guide on jacking/lifting instructions. Some or all of this information is also in your owner guide. Both documents you should be familiar with: https://rivian.com/support/vehicle-docsSo I brought my R1S to a local tire shop to replace the front two tires. The manager asked if I had jack pucks. Are these necessary to protect the battery or to lift the car or can I just remove the underbody panels and let them lift it? Thank you.
Thanks for your order.I recently got a set of the magjaxx pucks from jackpucks.com based on the positive reviews from members on this forum. Build quality and finish were great, except for one thing.
The rubber covers smell really bad. I figured it was just chemicals in the rubber off gassing so left them out in the garage for a few days. Smell has not gone away and wondering if others experienced the same for their pucks and whether the smell will dissipate, or will continue to smell funky?
