They have said they will start with the earliest owners so end of year should be possible depending on how many they have access to.The good news is RJ said the NACS adapters are shipping now. I look forward to seeing mine hopefully before year end? I am Vin 19XXX
They have revenue. They built up stock of vehicles to sell. That's why they're still offering various specials and why there are ready-to-receive vehicles in the Shop.I will be a shit show of a quarter. More depreciation, no revenue for a month while paying the cost of labor and keeping the lights on in the factory, and RJ said very few refresh vehicles will be sold
I'm Vin 03xxx still waiting. The good news is RJ said the NACS adapters are shipping now. I look forward to seeing mine hopefully before year end? I am Vin 19XXX
get in line, I'm in front of you twice. lol.I'm Vin 03xxx still waiting.
Messy production numbers were expected because of the shut-down… but messy deliveries could be much worst than expected. A lot of people are probably waiting for the refresh before committing and even with huge discounts on inventory, bad deliveries was not expected but only a short term issue as long as the refresh is available in all trims quickly and create a good momentum. To me it's non-news to anyone who's been following the company. "Messy" is a given based on knowledge of shutdown and changes made to make the product 30% more efficient to make as well as substantively more competitive. But, of course, it's the low hanging fruit for media, casual observers and detractors.
NACS adapter shipping isn't news either. We already know some have shipped and in accordance with their previously communicated "starting in April" timeframe. The big unanswered question is at what rate per month and whether drama at Tesla has any impact.
I don't think that's what RJ was referring to. When talking to investor types, it's strictly production and delivery numbers. Not the nature of deliveries.Messy production numbers were expected because of the shut-down… but messy deliveries could be much worst than expected. A lot of people are probably waiting for the refresh before committing and even with huge discounts on inventory, bad deliveries was not expected but only a short term issue as long as the refresh is available in all trims quickly and create a good momentum.
And tomorrow a janitor calls in sick, the stock tumbles. Because it's just that irrational. After hours RIVN stock price is pretty much flat, so seems markets weren't surprised.
All those in waiting, get to know the risks and just get a A2Z or Lectron in the meantime and be done with the matter. It doesn't hurt to have a backup once the official one arrives.I'm Vin 03xxx still waiting.
