You sure this isn't just a wheel protector for shipping purposes?

Edit: poorly designed wheel protector

Also came here to ask about the "eject button". Then I saw at least three comments before mine asking the same thing, lol. Hope it still locks when the car locks. ?

New Aero Wheel (Cover most likely)

Welcome to the future.

I actually love this look. There’s something futuristic, honest, and minimalist about it—like let’s cover the whole damn wheel for efficiency sake. Form following function and executed cleanly.

Even better if they can be removed to unveil a nice alternative look, like the existing 21”s which, in my view are, with covers off, actually the best looking of current wheel options when the covers are off.

Totally subjective, of course, but I think these will be my top choice, especially if there’s a reasonable range boost. (Need to see the whole vehicle to really decide, plus color choice matters.)

This is because Rivian wants you to stop the charge before hitting the cable latch button. It's "nicer" for the charging equipment that way.

Some of these choices are not boding well to do anything to increase demand which is desperately needed at the moment. Really hope some of the unseen changes are more attractive.
Dunno, someone should make a poll. See if the people who like these new wheel choices also like the cybertruck. Maybe that's the market Rivian is targeting here.

C’mon, it’s no contest. I mean, one of these oozes class. The other just oozes, like it was designed by a man-child.

It does look like it could be covering the new design shown in the parking lot photos. I wonder if a similar design would cover a 22” option.
