New product alert!

Team 1EV engineers worked a long time to develop the best storage solution for Rivian crossbars. The resulting design is very well thought out and thoroughly engineered to achieve several functional and performance objectives. First, the Team 1EV Crossbar Storage Mounts are designed to securely store factory Rivian Crossbars when not installed on the Rivian R1T / R1S. The Rivian R1T bed solution mandated that two sets of Crossbars mounts be storable and in a manner that nested all four bars on the front bed wall to minimize bed 'space' consumed with the storage. The design was carefully optimized to retain clearance for Team 1EV's RMaxx Soft Tonneau Cover and both factory Rivian tonneau covers (powered or manual). Next we wanted to retain clearance for Team 1EV's Tie Down Ring Hook & L-Track kit which installs on the front bed wall as shown in the photos. Rigidity and confidence in securing Crossbars when transversing off-road or during rough adventures required that our mounts attach to the Rivian using both upper and lower bolt bosses on the front bed well -- any mounting with less bolts would be totally inadequate. The next careful detail is the Patent-Pending 'dual-barrel' mounting link. Our goal was to emulate the factory Rivian latch pin to ensure a proper and full 'click-in' when attaching Crossbars to our mounts. You'll notice when storing four bars, we designed the mounts to stagger the bars slightly to enable fitting all four bars and retaining the most bed space. All these Patent Pending design features have been very carefully developed to create the best possible storage mounting solution for Rivian Crossbars. Our four Crossbar bed mount is also suitable for garage wall mounting. All mounting hardware is included for both R1T bed mounting and garage wall mounting.

Next, we wanted to create a smaller garage wall mounting system with similar thoughtfulness. Our two Crossbar wall system is designed to anchor into sheetrock walls and includes anchors and hardware. When space is tight or only a single pair of Crossbars are in play, our two Crossbar wall system is the perfect option.

Note: Rivian Crossbars not included

Load rating is high; definitely strong - these are NOT 3d printed plastic. Will check with engineering and report back soon
What I want to do is attach to my garage ceiling with my ski rack and skis attached, so they are all completely out of the way for the off-season. Definitely would bolt into studs. Would this be strong enough (heck would the crossbar latches be strong enough inverted?)

should be just fine, if your anchor to the stud is legit. yes.

easy fix, must have vibrated loose. Do you have the screws still? I can send you thread locker.

Just got a reply from Evan with the specs. In case anyone else needs the specs, here they are, glad they are screws and not Rivets!

They are M4x0.7 countersunk machine screws that thread into the 10mm OD rod in the middle.

and thread locker or silicone on the threads, will keep them from vibrating loose!

After watching the video I’m not clear if I can lock the crossbars when mounted in the truck bed. Seems like it would be hard to get the key in there.

Has anyone mounted a set of these in the fronk?

I just got mine in to store my crossbars that have light pods mounted to them. Thinking about keeping these stored in the truck for out of the weather access.
