The problem is, the steering wheel will slowly lower over time and I have to calibrate again in a week or two. Why won't it stay calibrated? Is there something mechanical that is slipping? I have it set all the way up to give me the best view of the driver's display.
I can't imagine this is a software issue. Anyone know what's going on?

Mine has a similar issue, but not the same. Mine keeps telescoping toward me, too close to my chest, then I have to reset it to all the way in to the dash. I have seen this happen twice in the last couple of months.

Yeah. Have an S and a T. They both do this. Have to calibrate at least weekly. Annoying but at least possible.

Oh, I thought I’m crazy.
Same issue here, but also do have this issue with seat.
Calibrate every 3-5 days

Are you sure you are not growing taller, giving the perception the steering wheel is lowering? ?

Yes, my R1S steering wheel loses its position over time but I only have to recalibrate it once every few months. I was so happy to see the recalibration OTA update came out. Ever since then, I don’t think it’s a problem.

Same issue here on my T. I have to reset both the steering wheel and seat position about every week or so. And that's an improvement from a few months ago when I had to rest them every other day.

It's a little annoying considering that I haven't had to reset the position in our other cars since the day I picked them up new from the dealer 10.5 and 8.5 years ago.

Hmm. Nothing of the sort happening with my R1S. Flawless since receipt in January. Knock on my head!

Similar issue with steering. A reset will fix it for me. Rate: every few weeks.

No need to reset, just recalibrate.

Do you have easy entry and exit set?

Hmm. Got my R1S last January. I think I set that up, but can't recall for sure. Guessing that it is not; do no see seat adjustments made when I get in other than what my profile has stored.

That's why you don't see the drift.

I haven't had to move mine since doing my initial config in March '23. I think one time I did move it accidentally (poking around in settings) but was glad it "remembered" and was able to get it back where I wanted it easily.
