Seems alarmist. Those people still exist and will hopefully find work elsewhere. There was an update confirming that they'll still be rolling out charging stations and expanding current ones. Tesla also doesn't owe us anything. It's great that we can charge on that network now.

Sure they can make chargers still but take a good look at the supercharger map, it’s not going to change much from now on.

I guess I don't understand how that's Tesla's responsibility or why I should be upset by it. If there's a need for further charging infrastructure in remote areas, then nothing's stopping any of the other companies that build them from doing it.

There must be some kind of business plan in action here. Musk is not just some simple minded mad man. As much as many folks love to hate him personally, he is still the pioneer that lead most of us here.
Let’s see how this thing plays out.

He *hired* people to pioneer ahead and he did so as this quiet nerdy dark horse character that people found refreshing. Twitter has no revenue, Tesla appears to have chaotic and volatile leadership, and SpaceX isn't run by him. Not sure how instability leads to genius in your world.

I'm both a Rivian and a Tesla stockholder. IMO Tesla's annual meeting can't come soon enough. I'm looking forward to voting against anything Musk wants. This action, and so many recently have been completely nuts. It is definitely time for the board to replace him.

You won’t care until you can’t charge somewhere since Tesla decided to exit the EV market. That’s Musks goal. He terrified of Chinese EVs and is trying to change Tesla to an AI company.

I really hope that other companies learn they cannot trust Musk owned companies. He will stab you in the back to save a buck.

I don't care because I only travel to remote areas when towing and use my diesel for that.

I'm not sure you understand the complexity of getting a supercharger built anywhere, let alone everywhere.....

Besides permitting, real estate acquisition and utility connection what else is involved. Giga Shanghai builds the superchargers and Giga NY will assemble them onto preforms concrete pads and contractors install them. Definitely not a 500 person job.

Cause the existing supercharger team has nothing to do with installing or building or permitting them.

And what happens after those are compl? There will be no more locations in the works. Yet Yesla is still going to sell thousands of EVs a week and create even more charger congestion.

Exactly. EV sales will get sta and not increase. Yet more and more EVs will be sold and use the same amount of chargers. We need thousands of more chargers every year and Elon just put a dent in that. So those on the fence will buy an ICE instead of an EV. Charging is one of the most cited reason for people not getting an EV.
