I would disagree. In my case they gave me $36k for a 6 year old Tacoma TRD Pro that I paid $38k for. That was more than any dealer offered for it.

My experience was quite different. I asked them quote a jeep wrangler 392 and a ram 1500. Both were well below market - enough I was willing to walk away from the trade-in credit (7.5% in CT) and sell them to local dealers.

Read the subject and was immediately like: "I'm finally going to pull the trigger". But I'm trading in a Tesla...so won't qualify. And even then I want an R1S so that's only 1,500 CAD. I'm very whelmed.

Likely going to get super lowball trade offers to account for that 5k ?

It’s always been hard to find a pattern with their trade in values. I was certainly surprised my offer was that high based on what others had reported here.
