Why do you show up here with your negative Rivian posts... Oh wait you are a troll, you already admitted that.

"
This forum needs balanced content for potential owners. If you look at my posting history you will see consistent criticism of the charging experience/infrastructure and contrasts with Tesla. Of course, I'm going to post when my lived experience continues to support those views.

I would prefer all of the vitriolic anti-Tesla folks skipped these threads, so the next time you see a title mentioning Tesla just move along, same for COdogman, Dark-fx, and DuoRivians

Yes a troll and he should either sell his Rivian or have it taken from him so he can move on and buy the X he always wanted!

No one cares about your “lived” experience. You only ever focus on the alleged negative - so not giving a rounded view either.

But then again...

Lets be real. You are getting the reaction you are because of your title which was likely purposely chosen to invoke a reaction ?‍♂
Guilty as charged. Any mention of Tesla or Elon and the RJ fanboys lose their minds, it just so happens the title is true
Fair and balanced like Fox News.

Do Tesla owners thank Rivian in the Tesla forums? Every time I pull in to the Sacrament RAN all the L2 stalls are occupied with Teslas mooching off the free chargers.
Yep ?

Experience has been mostly negative.

I will say the Moderate suspension setting has been a huge improvement over Soft and Stiff.

Here's a summary of my poor planning skills:
1) Spend the night in Bridgeport the night before Mammoth so we could top up at the EA charger
2) Snow mode up the mountain and arrive to our condo with 180 miles of range
3) Underground assigned parking spot is 50 feet from the nearest outlet, I brought the mobile charger but didn't bring a 50 foot extension cable, won't make that mistake next time.
4) Kept the Rivian in the underground spot for most of the trip bc the nearest lift is a 10 min walk and warmer temps preserves battery
5) Woke up early on Day 2 to charge for an hour at the Tesla station before the lifts opened.
[Why didn't I just leave the Rivian plugged in while I skied? I was thinking about other EV owners that might be in a tougher spot than me and at that time it seemed there was only one working J connector in town for public use. I guess a few of the people in the comments would just plug in and bail?!?]
6) Tried to charge on Day 4, but an R1T owner had plugged in and bailed
7) Called the Westin and Juniper Springs to ask about valet charging - no go bc it's Spring Break and they are maxed out
8) Original Post

It's amazing to me that the folks on this forum always blame the owner.

To those asking why I'm not positive/thankful - I am thankful for the Mammoth Recreation Center and Tesla -they saved the trip and I titled the thread with that positive message
You’re not allowed to criticize Rivian or RJ on these forums. Everything is your fault and you’re required to be a fanboy.

Guys, stop picking on him. It’s like you have no idea how exhausting it must be for him to go through life like this.

Why do you still show up in any thread associated with Tesla? You are fervently anti-Tesla/NACS/Elon, just move along.
Thanks for your unsolicited advice, but I am free to share my opinions about Tesla just like you are free to post a nonsense thread blaming Rivian for your own decisions. Have a great day:)

LOL .. "Let me try to direct potential customers to the company I likely have stock of with one sided stories about how great Tesla is and Rivian being the worst company in the world"

Also love this quote " (RJ, I was hoping the adapter would be available for this trip...but we all know, by now, the large gap between Rivian product/feature announcement and delivery is really the only thing this company consistently offers). "

You say this after heaping praise on Tesla .. who is known world wide for meeting delivery timelines and expectations. They never miss (*cough* cybertruck *cough* FSD *Cough* Robotaxi *cough*)

I would add that access to the supercharger network has been done on time and emails starting the process of getting adapters is also on time. Yes they have missed some dates but this is on track.
