Rivian R2T pickup? [updated with R2T trademark pending]

They're heavily marketing this new vehicle as R2, not R2S, indicating it's not going to have multiple body styles imo. I can see them using the same platform for an even smaller R3, but I wouldn't expect there to be more than one model in the R2 range.

I have both the R1T and the Maverick and they are indeed very similarly sized.

The exact same way a Miata is similarly sized as a Porsche 718 Spyde RS.

Then the Ranger and Maverick are the same size so there would be room for a smaller Rivian truck.

Ranger: 210"
Maverick: 199"
R1T: 217"
R2T could be ~200"

OK thanks I was hoping that it would be revealed at the R2 reveal. btw why don't they just call it the R2S reveal then?

Because it looks like it will just be called the R2. People who have brightened up some of the images released so far have noticed that the badge just says "R2", not "R2S." Even though it is clearly an SUV, thus should be "R2S" by their R1 naming convention.

I highly doubt there will be anything other than the SUV revealed today. But I would love to see an R2T that's Maverick or smaller revealed today or at a later date.

I like the idea of Telo trucks mini cooper sized pickup that can transform from pickup/suv. I'm gonna dream that Rivian will make something in the R2 size some day.

All right guys after the mystery surprise reveal of R3 and R3X y'all can't be saying "it doesn't exist because RJ hasn't said anything about it." My guess is they're working on a full sized version of the T. R1/2T, anybody?
