I expect the R1S to crack the top 5 for 2024 and possibly challenge for top 3 as I expect them to sell as many as 50k based on what we've heard about product mix for R/T and production volume.

By my math that means that the R1S is the top selling $80k+ EV

Pretty impressive in it's first full year of deliveries but being new and having an order backlog certainly helped

All of which could have been EDVs as far as we know.

Agree - unlikely it was from the R1S. R1T could be a piece of that too though.

R1S numbers seem a little off. Rivian doesn't publish these as far as I know, so it seems that Cox is making some assumptions and extrapolations. The linked article doesn't mention how they calculated a number if it's not provided by the company and whether this is based on production or deliveries or booked orders. IIRC from last year, Cox numbers for Rivian were low then as well.

No one is growing faster than Rivian at over 100% growth rate.

In fact the R1S has grown to become the best-selling “big EV” outpacing the Tesla Model X and the Ford F-150 Lightning.

I really do love my R1S, it has been fantastic trouble free machine and it does deserve a top spot!
