The sad part is the majority of Elon’s fanboys love him BECAUSE he says things like that. Still good to see some folks have had enough.

You can't say polarizing things like that as a company leader. You shouldnt hold those views to start with but if you do, as a public figure, keep them to yourself. He has an obligation to all of his employees of all of his companies to keep their jobs and futures healthy.

Being the top of any company is a responsibility and using your platform to be a messenger boy for Stormfront isn't a great look. I know I've defended Elon in the past over his free speech but I can't support agreeing with statements like this. I support his right to say them but he is wrong for believing that.

Eventually Elon will have to step down from Tesla. There's just no way around it.

The guy is on a full path of self destruction.

The scary part are the Elon cultists in the comments. These people are all gone.

That’s why I call him a memelord and don’t really think of him as a leader of anything. Much of what his companies have accomplished is because of the countless and nameless women and men who don’t get any credit (and should). Musk is that child in the classroom whose sole motivation is to get laughs and noticed. And expectedly the more controversial the action, the greater the response. You can see how that shapes a human being overtime.

Now, no longer startups, it’s a liability… because he has no discipline and filter (emboldened by having FU-money).

I agree with all of that. He is the worst type of leader -unstable, hypocritical, micromanaging. There are countless stories of his employees attempting to steer him away from stupid decisions (including the Cybertruck), but he does what he wants. He only owns about 22% of Tesla shares, but they have their board set up with super-majority rules, so it would take basically 90% voting against something he wants to do to overrule it. So he is still fully in control and free to do what he wants.

The best thing Tesla as a company could do is push him out entirely. He is a one man wrecking crew right now, destroying their reputation. Him buying Twitter was like a drunk buying Jack Daniel’s. It was always going to end up like this.

I hope he gets pushed out of SpaceX too. Pretty scary this guy can literally regulate war with internet coverage. Matter of fact, let’s just send him back to South Africa.

Even the Tesla fans are getting tired of him. I am on a few Tesla forums, and since Twitter even they are calling for his removal so the company can focus on it's goals and not be distracted by Elon's antics.

That is good to hear. He will continue to drag them down if they don’t cut him loose.
