And with a bigger battery please ?Wonder when they're going to start shipping the AWD ones.
Funny electrek completely missed the trade customers in its reporting, this would be a great van for trades like plumbers, electricians, etc…https://electrek.co/2023/11/07/rivian-ends-amazon-exclusivity-seeks-new-suitors-for-commercial-vans/
“As part of the announcement, it looks like Rivian is renaming the vehicle from the EDV, or Electric Delivery Van, to the Rivian RCV, or Rivian Commercial Van”
Only link I've got for expedited fleet purchase still is R1 only, sadly https://cloud.e.rivian.com/rivianfleetWhere do I sign up
Companies across the globe have expressed strong interest in the Rivian Commercial Van as they look to reduce their CO2 output. To maximize our environmental impact, we will initially prioritize larger fleet requests and begin small scale deployments in 2024, prior to scaling deliveries in 2025. We invite companies with fleets of any size to visit our Fleet page to learn more.
Comcast, Verizon, utilities, et cetera. Drive through your neighborhood on a given day and just count the number of panel vans you see. I don't think Rivian has bandwidth to start selling on small scale to customers buying a few vans, but I do think there are fleet markets out there that aren't in the delivery space who will be happy to take advantage of any tax incentives that come with transitioning their fleet to EVs.Funny electrek completely missed the trade customers in its reporting, this would be a great van for trades like plumbers, electricians, etc…
It's been called the RCV for a while. They are calling their service vans they sell to themselves that. They updated it on the fleet section already
