R1T aftermarket market subwoofer dual 10

In the coming weeks I’m going to create and install a dual subwoofer system set up. I have had no luck of seeing much after market systems.
Worse is to see how it was done by the ones me you can find.
I’ll do my best to hopefully figure out how too lol, but also take detailed pictures and lay out step by step.

JL Audio HD Series HD750/1
2 JL 10TW3-D8
Audio Control Lcq1
Stinger SPC505 Pro Hybrid 5 Farad Capacitor
Miscellaneous cables, fuse holders etc (will list details once I use items)

(haven’t found a single place in St.louis that can do it)

Didn’t want to go to small and regret it.
Before my Rivian I’m had a Durango with a JL 12w7. Miss that level of sound.
With 2 I can feel more bass without having to crank up.

You might have to give up the extra storage space under the rear seats though. Just trying to get a sense of if one is plenty for most

Yep. I’m planning on using the entire space under there.
If my plan works out, will be able to be replicated with one and keeping more space
for storage.

The W7 Series indeed rock. My choice too, when I figure out the 12V challenge. I’ll be following your posts!

Not an issue for me..NEVER use it. It’s a stereo installers dream to have a big void like that available!

I actually saw a recent Reddit post that referenced someone pulling this off - and it was, indeed, a dual JL sub setup taking over the under rear seat storage area. I think the post only referenced the audio shop’s social media photos of the final installation.

It’s definitely possible and I’m sure you’ll figure it out. If I have time later, I’ll try to track down the post.

I did and I even called the shop.
Problem was shop did it on the fly and had no info.
Also I believe location was Arizona.
If I still lived in Texas, or Florida, I would take it into a shop.

I found a shop in Illinois, but the guy was on crack. He wanted around 2k just to build box.

Just because we drive electric doesn’t make us dumb, it’s actually the opposite. That crap might work on a Tesla owner lol
