How to Charge at RAN

I'm planning to head out with my wife and 2 dogs tomorrow and I'm banking on a good experience at the Aberdeen WA Rivian Adventure Network (RAN) charger.

Can someone describe for me the step-by-step process of how charging at a RAN charger works? I have a SC Loaner R1S, and I want to make sure I don't have to be the registered owner of the vehicle in my Rivian Account (e.g., it doesn't show up as my car in my Rivian app).

Yup. For now, there’s no payment, and the RAN just knows the CCS vehicle on the other end is a Rivian. For future plug-and-charge, it may vary somewhat. But for now - enjoy!

Plug it in and go find a cup of coffee... Just like a Tesla.

I did that once and the charge failed, with no warning in the app. Verify charging actually starts before walking away.

Same when a couple were down at madras ran. Got in thinking we were ready to go. Best advice is make sure it starts then occasionally check app if not near vehicle…which isn’t possible with loaner
