It is so necessary and IMO blind spot indicator is unreliable in Rivian for some reasons.

Yea, I've also noticed the blind spot indicator is unreliable, so much so that I ignore it all together.

It would be GREAT if the rumored updates to tow mode are in this next release. Particularly the range estimates that are ridiculous (and unusable) in the current state!

Six months of ownership and I still haven't changed my drive mode out of "all purpose". Keep saying one of these days I'm gonna try out "sport mode". But being realistic, I spend hours a day sitting in traffic. Nowhere around here to even use it, LOL. ?

Please try Rally mode, just for fun, too... No problem to use it on the street. That's currently my favorite drive mode until Rivian improves all-purpose-soft to make it more comfortable and less jarring.

I read that as tweaks/improvements to existing drive modes; not new drive modes. Guess we'll find out.

I'm hoping it's a way to change drive modes without having to touch the screen. The right scroll wheel does absolutely nothing while driving, maybe that can be mapped? It only does something when using ACC, but you can't change drive modes in ACC anyway.

New Drive modes? I wonder what UI updates are in store. I wonder!

Don’t read too much into a simple line. As we near winter, it could simply be an improvement to snow mode.

Let's hope for like a "luxury mode" and take what they botched with the new All-Purpose, and make it that. then put All-Purpose back to how it was.

Yeah, 100%. And perhaps listen to feedback from these Forums, then actually beta-test them for a few weeks before sending them out.

Maybe it is a re-naming to "luxury mode" and then putting All Purpose back to the way it was but I had to constantly switch to Rally every time I went down a bumpy driveway or back road because AP was absolute garbage.

If the UK can leave the EU with 45% saying we shouldn't, then Rivian can happily ignore the <10%.

This is pretty much the only Tesla feature I miss, or at least the top of a short list

I rented a Tesla for a weekend trip and really liked the light change alert. In this day of distracted driving, I thought that would be a nice option to have.

My blind spot seems to work pretty well. With all three mirrors properly adjusted + the blind spot monitoring, I get a pretty good viewpoint of the rear.

The blind spot even works with a bike rack hanging back there about 80% of the time the rack is on the truck. Occasionally it'll tell me the sensors are dirty when the bike rack is there, but that's not very often.
