how about conservative mode v2 with less tire wear.
That's going to require a change to the laws of physics or an advance in tire composition both of which are out of Rivian's locus of control.

Drive modes will now be added to the Settings -> About menu and will be embedded inside the Trip Meters.

You’re welcome.

Anyone knows if “pin to drive” a la Tesla and auto “fan or AC on” when car interior temperature is over 110 deg F. are on the roadmap?

Six months of ownership and I still haven't changed my drive mode out of "all purpose". Keep saying one of these days I'm gonna try out "sport mode". But being realistic, I spend hours a day sitting in traffic. Nowhere around here to even use it, LOL. ?
234. 95 HOV. Prince William Parkway. Joplin Road. Aden Rd. There's plenty of places to let loose in NOVA. Heck, there's even some gravel roads out there if you want to get funky. Wave if you see me!

This is probably the major updated TOW Mode and a new Offroad mode. Wassym mentioned these at the Rivian event at the Venice Hub over the Spring.

Tire comp will never change the horrid alignment these things ship with

Dumb question - we’ve had our R1S for about a month now, how do we get on this newsletter list?

Go to Rivian.com, at the top of the page is a link to get updates. I think that is what they are using for the mailing list. If you have already subscribed there check your junk or trash folders to see if they are flagged to move.

That would be only using Conserve while on the highway and doing so in Standard height rather than the default of Low. The wear primarily came from folks running Conserve (FWD) all the time and then still trying to accelerate from a stop ripping rubber off the front tires. But the other side to that is that the alignment is set for Standard height and going to any of the higher or lower settings will make for worse tire wear due to changes in toe, less so camber. That said, Low and Lowest increases negative camber which is highly desirable for Sport mode in an appropriate setting/road.

I use sport mode for parking garages with low clearance.

Since we are guessing, here's mine :). They bring the automatic switch from AWD to FWD that the dual motor all-purpose does to the Quads to increase the HWY range!

Ugh, I hope they don't get into a habit of consistent UI upgrades just for the sake of change. Improvement is great, change for the sake of change like we see with so many apps/computers/phones, etc - not so much.
I get where you’re coming from, but the UI really NEEDS work.
