Yes, this makes a great difference.

There are so many sw tweaks I want, but this was a big one. Now let me press the left button (or something) when within range of the garage to also turn on the cameras and fold in the mirrors :)

Oh that's a good idea when you hit the garage button have cameras come on showing front. even for when I'm going through gates it would be nice to make sure the gate is gonna miss the truck and all the poles and things close to the truck.

What I wish they did was just put seperate icons for each garage door on the screen, like the garage icon with a number inside, then when you arrive, you push the button on the screen for the specific door you want.

If you have a house with 2 garage doors, and program both to the GPS, you still do not have 1 touch, but seperate icons on the screen would achieve 1 touch.

Lastly, I still wish they would add a deactivate garage door when somethign ( a bike) is on the roof or bed to avoid running into the garage door frame with the bike.

I like that idea of a warning before entering the garage door if you have a bike rack on the roof. I "ran" into that issue a long time ago with a mountain bike on my jeep.

Regarding folding mirrors, camera view, locking behavior, vehicle height, garage doors, charging schedule, etc., I think each navigation saved location should have a Details or Preferences button which allows you to set what you want associated with each location.

If at your home location you may want mirrors folded, no camera view, proximity unlock only, set vehicle height to standard, present the control for that garage door, apply a specific charging schedule, and whatever else should be location based.

If in a parking structure at your work location you may want mirrors unfolded, camera view on, proximity lock & unlock, vehicle height low, no garage control, no charging schedule, etc.

If on a particularly bad section of road, you may want everything to stay the same except for the ride height set to high.

Having everything tied to a location, rather than tying a location to each setting, should make for a better user experience as preferences and use cases get more complex.

Curious, do you constantly switch between witch garage door you use for the Rivian at one location? If not only set the primary to one touch. More of an issue if it is a gate and a garage door but just a thought.

I debated this as it's only been less than 1 day and I haven't even left the house to test it, I debated not adding the 2nd garage to begin with, but I still haven't even left the house LOL>

More than that portion of the update my biggest concern is creating a reliable way to prevent the garage from opening when something is on the truck bed that could hit the garage.

I have deactivated the garage door button previously to help prevent a stop, but, I have gotten distracted at the exact moment returning home with a phone call or something / conversation and the like, that I forget and boom, tap the garage, thankfully never caused damage.

I agreed with a programmable button (one touch) to set several things to your preferences based on location like... open garage, height to the prefer level (lowest due to my garage door), AC off (don't want it to turn on/off in the garage), fold side mirrors or maybe open the charging door...
