April 27th was my birthday and team I got my best present from 1EV, my new running boards. Well I guess technically it was my second best because I got my R1T on my last birthday, but HUGE shout out to 1EV for making it happen.
So far the boards are great. I love the looks and the functionality. It is a little too early to tell, but so far I have not noticed and hit to range or any additional noise. My neighbor, who has had A LOT of trucks and running boards commented on how they seemed like a very high build quality, and even commented that the structure with tubing all around should help a lot if I ever get in a side impact.
My wife is 4'9, my mother in law is 5', and my daughter is 4'7 so they love the boards and comment how we don't need to carry a stool around to get in and out of the truck..
. Even my 4 year old pup (who has the same birthday as me) can now get in without help using the boards. I will try to take more pics but here are a few with some before and after.
Well done 1EV
Before shot
prepping the truck
under body shot... good clean work!!
First one done
Outside 1EV after install
The birthday pup waiting to eat his In and Out... he wanted to eat fast so he could try out the new boards....
